Our portfolio of national and super-regional brands and licensed products includes Hood, Heluva Good, Lactaid, Blue Diamond Almond Breeze, Planet Oat and more.Starting Salary: $23.186 months: $23.7412 months: $24.28Job Summary:The Parts/Purchasing Assistant will maintain both inventory levels and receiving of new inventory for the Batavia Plant--- Maintain the accuracy of the inventory management system (MP2).--- Issue purchase orders to maintain acceptable inventory of parts.--- Review purchase orders to ensure accurate delivery of goods.--- Receive and distribute inbound deliveries accordingly. --- Assist in assuring that all items are properly checked out of the stockroom and recorded as necessary--- Serve as a point of contact to answer internal customer questions and/or concerns in reference to parts/stockroom.--- Prepare and participate in physical inventory.--- Assist in maintaining a neat and orderly environment in the stock room.--- Prepare and distribute department information to leadership as needed.--- Order parts from main and alternative vendors as needed.--- Perform other tasks as assigned.Education and Experience: --- High School diploma or equivalentSkills and Competencies:--- Strong attention to detail.--- Ability to work and maintain confidentiality.--- Excellent file management skills--- Strong written and verbal communication skills.--- Able to work independently.--- Strong computer skills.
