Job Description Job Description JOB SUMMARY We are seeking a dedicated and proactive Maintenance Worker to help us maintain a safe, clean, and pleasant environment for our tenants and guests. This role is crucial to the daily operations of our property and requires a hands-on approach to problem-solving. The Maintenance Worker is responsible for general maintenance of company properties' buildings, grounds, and equipment. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Maintains grounds and parking lots. Garbage pick-up, minor routine parking lot repairs, and other related maintenance activities. Mows lawn, trims shrubbery, cultivates flowers, landscaping, mulching, and weeding. Performs all aspects of landscaping property. Cleans snow and debris from sidewalks and parking lots. Maintains building by performing minor and routine painting, carpentry, plumbing, electrical wiring, tile repair, and other related maintenance activities. Performs maintenance and repairs on equipment, including small engines and electrical motors. Notifies the supervisor of the need for significant lighting, heating, and ventilating equipment repairs. Maintains motor vehicles (trucks, tractors, salters, and plows). Repairs and maintains all doors and entryway hardware. Replaces lightbulbs. Operates power tools and equipment. Must have a valid Driver's license. OTHER DUTIES Other duties as assigned. EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE: High school diploma or GED. Trade school certification and mechanical repair courses or equivalent experience, a plus. Experience in one or more relevant fields, plumbing, electrical, mechanical, landscaping, etc., a plus. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES: Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT: The physical demands described here represent those that an employee must meet to perform the essential functions of this job successfully. The work environment is indoors and outdoors, frequently exposed to all types of weather conditions. Occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts; high, precarious places; and risk of electrical shock. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. Must be able to work overtime as needed, weekends and holidays. Two Full-Time positions available. The salary range listed for this position represents the anticipated compensation based on experience and qualifications and may vary depending on internal factors and applicable laws.
