An opportunity is available for a Special Education Teacher to support students with diverse learning needs in a school setting. This role involves working closely with students who require individualized educational plans, providing tailored instruction, and fostering an inclusive learning environment. Travel to various school locations within the Niagara Falls, NY area will be part of the daily routine, offering a dynamic work experience. Key Responsibilities: Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) for students with special needs Adapt teaching methods to accommodate different learning styles and abilities Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and families to promote student success Maintain accurate records of student progress and participate in regular evaluations Manage classroom behavior and create a positive, engaging environment for all learners Qualifications: Valid Special Education teaching certification or licensure Experience working in school settings with students requiring special education services Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with students, families, and team members Flexibility and willingness to travel within the Niagara Falls area as required Patience, creativity, and commitment to supporting student achievement This position offers a rewarding chance to make a meaningful difference in students lives through dedicated instruction and support.
