Due to growth -Linde, Inc. is seeking a Project Engineer in the Tonawanda, NY area.

Primary Responsibilities:

Design and size basic to complicated customer liquid and gas supply systems for atmospheric gases, hydrogen or CO2
Performs and/or approves detailed design calculation such as storage tank sizing, process line sizing, piping and manual valve specification, safety relief valve sizing, liquid pump sizing, pressure drop calculations and pipe stress analysis.
Works with internal and external resources to approve fabrication drawings and other construction submittals for conformance to specifications and makes design recommendations.
Serves as a consultant to others, providing technical information and engineering recommendations that assist with various projects and operations support.
Makes timely technical decisions based on awareness of viability, cost and other benefits; sometimes with limited information and under tight deadlines and pressure.
Provide technical expertise in troubleshooting, Root Cause Analysis, and developing standards.
Is innovative in developing, selecting and implementing engineering techniques and solutions to drive safety, reliability and productivity of supply systems.
Makes effective presentations to internal and external customers.
Approves standards and guidelines.
Willingness to travel up to 25% of the time to support projects and field operations.
