Job Description:

WestRock, a leader in innovative and sustainable packaging solutions, is seeking an Electrical Maintenance Technician to join our Engineering & Maintenance team. This position is crucial for ensuring the optimal functioning of our packaging machinery and systems. Perform routine electrical maintenance on a variety of packaging machinery and systems, ensuring compliance with operational standards. Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical issues, proposing reliable solutions to maintain system effectiveness and reduce downtimes. Install, test, and calibrate electronic components and equipment following specified engineering instructions and safety standards. Work collaboratively with the maintenance team to develop and implement preventative maintenance programs tailored to site-specific requirements. Assist in the upgrade of electrical systems and machinery to enhance performance and sustainability. Document all maintenance activities, repairs, and system statuses, ensuring accurate records are maintained for compliance and operational efficiency. Strong technical and diagnostic skills in electrical systems and PLC programming Experience with automated packaging machinery and control systems Ability to read and interpret electrical and mechanical blueprints and technical diagrams Solid understanding of safety standards and compliance regulations Proficiency in using electrical repair tools and equipment Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Licensed Electrician preferred Certification in PLC (Programmable Logic Controllers) Programming OSHA Safety Certification in Electrical Maintenance is a plus
