our website at . POSITION SUMMARY: The Global Technology
Organization is focused on driving growth by developing and
commercializing products, services, and solutions across all market
segments world-wide. - Linde Technology's Commercialization
activities are primarily organized in one of four global
development centers: - Munich, Germany; Tonawanda, NY; Burr Ridge,
IL, and Shanghai, China. - This role will join the Global
Healthcare & Specialty Gases Commercialization team and will be
responsible for select growth programs and commercialization
activities in Healthcare and Specialty Gases and the role has a
preference to be based in Tonawanda, NY but other Linde locations
may be considered as well. - Growth programs for which this role
will be responsible include, but are not limited to, medical and
specialty gas packaging and digitalization PSOs. This role will be
involved in and support the development of new products from
ideation to launch and will be responsible for the
commercialization activities for the programs. This role will be
working together with the Technology development teams and the
RBU's to create business cases and support implementation to drive
growth with new products and replication initiatives. Indirect
turnover/revenue (NPNS, RR, & TS for HC & SPG) is approximately $80
MM USD. KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES: Ideation & New Product
Development
- Collaborate with Technology Development teams and RBU's in all
stages of development from ideation to launch
- Support the development process with particular focus on the
business and commercial relevant elements such as voice of customer
research, business model design and business case development New
Product Introductions
- Develop global commercialization plans for the programs to
serve as templates for country launches
- Develop global launch support material including sales training
and marketing material
- Support countries in the launch of the new products including,
but not limited to, identifying amenable target markets, defining
launch success criteria, developing value selling tools, training
local teams, coordinating operational requirements, supporting
first launch and provide ongoing support Global PSO Management and
Replication Activities
- Together with the global Healthcare and Specialty Gas
Commercialization team, manage and develop the global PSO
portfolio, build the global knowledge, and experience database and
identify replication opportunities
- Drive growth through replication activities with countries to
maximize penetration of existing PSOs by sharing knowledge, best
practice and help countries develop their local PSO strategy and
road maps
- Continuously keep the global PSO support material up to date
and available in global tools such as the Brandportal and the PSO
Compendium
- Develop the Linde knowledge in the market segments and support
countries with technical and commercial expertise in all aspects
related to the various PSOs
- Facilitate knowledge, experience and best practice sharing by
managing a network of colleagues around the world for the PSOs
General Global Commercialization activities
- Support the annual TGD (Technology Growth Dialogue) program
with responsibility of a portion of the TGD Program reporting for
Healthcare & Specialty Gases
- Support the internal communication activities to promote
Healthcare and Specialty gases within Linde, provide news, develop
articles etc.
- Support the external communications activities to promote
Healthcare and Specialty Gases including websites, social media,
etc
- Collaborate with and support other functions in topics and
projects related to Healthcare & Specialty Gases such as safety,
QRA, Operations, Finance and Legal Job Requirements:Salary and Job
Level Commensurate with Experience Basic:
- Bachelor's degree
- 5+ years of sales, marketing, product management, project
management, or equivalent
- Ability to travel 30%+ of the time domestically and
internationally
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills (English,
additional languages preferred)
- Ability to successfully interact and engage with global
customers and internal business partners Preferred:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in technical discipline
(Engineering, Science, etc.)
- Master's in Business Administration
- 5+ years of experience in Healthcare or Specialty Gases
