*RN Supervisor**STARTING RATE: *$36.00 ($36.00 - $38.00/hr., dependent upon experience)*SIGN-ON BONUS: up to $7,500**SHIFTS AVAILABLE:*Unit Coordinator Full-Time, Days and Evenings (7 am - 3 pm and 3 pm - 11 pm)LPN or RN Supervisor Part-Time, Nights ( 11 pm - 7 am)LPN or RN Weekend Warrior Supervisor Weekends (7 pm - 7 am)*BENEFITS:** Weekly Paychecks* Same-Day Pay Options* Health, Dental, Life Insurance* Referral Bonus up to $500/referral* Tuition Assistance* Retirement/401k* Clinically Complex Positions*JOB DESCRIPTION:*An LPN Supervisor works closely with RNs and LPNs to ensure the best possible functions of assigned units and supervise unit employees.An RN Supervisor oversees the day-to-day clinical activities of health care personnel, such as LPNs and CNAs, while maintaining a safe environment for residents and striving to meet maximum security and comfort needs. Able to interpret patient information. Make critical decisions about necessary actions and administer medication, wound care, and other personalized interventions.*LPN SUPERVISOR RESPONSIBILITIES:** Assists the Director of Nursing in directing, coordinating, and supervising the Nursing Services Department.* Scheduling and assigning nursing staff as needed for the department* Responsible for maintaining the standards of nursing care and practices within the facility to meet the needs of our residents and their families* Support nursing staff job results by coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees* Ensure all policies and procedures are being followed at all times while also making suggestions for improvements* Provides information to Residents and health care team.* Maintains documentation of Resident care services.* Performs other position-related duties as assigned, depending on the assignment setting.*RN SUPERVISOR RESPONSIBILITIES:** Consults and coordinates with healthcare team members to assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care plans* Prepares and administers, and records prescribed medications* Records patients' medical information and vital signs* Assesses the patient's ability to do routine daily tasks* Recognizes and manages geriatric syndromes common to older adults, including cardiovascular, respiratory, gastrointestinal, urinary, hematological, musculoskeletal, endocrine, neurological, psychiatric/psychosocial, integumentary, sensory, and pain problems* Prepares equipment and aids physician during examination and treatment of the patient* Communicate with family members regarding patient* Records all care information concisely, accurately, and completely, in a timely manner, in the appropriate format and on the appropriate forms* Performs other position-related duties as assigned, depending on the assignment setting*LPN SUPERVISOR REQUIREMENTS:** Minimum 18 years of age* Licensed Practical Nurse, LPN, licensure* Experience in long-term care facility preferred* Able to interpret patient information and make critical decisions about necessary actions* Ability to supervise and work well with and show respect toward other healthcare personnel (i.e., CNAs, LPNs, physicians, etc.), residents, and their family members* Strong written and verbal communication skills; able to follow written and verbal instructions* Able to perform tasks while upholding high standards of quality, cleanliness, and kindness* Physical endurance for frequent activity; ability to lift a minimum of 20 pounds*RN SUPERVISOR REQUIREMENTS:** New York State Registered Professional Nurse licensure* Experience in long-term care facility preferred* Able to interpret patient information and make critical decisions about necessary actions* Ability to supervise and work well with and show respect toward other health care personnel (i.e., CNAs, LPNs, physicians, etc.), residents and their family members* Strong written and verbal communication skills; able to follow written and verbal instructions* Able to perform tasks while upholding high standards of quality, cleanliness and kindness* Physical endurance for frequent activity; ability to lift a minimum of 20 pounds*APPLY ONLINE OR SEND YOUR RESUME TO:*Northgate Health Care FacilityAttn: Keya Wilkie, Recruiter7264 Nash RoadNorth Tonawanda NY, 14120*TEXT:* 716-385-7464 for more information*ABOUT US:*The McGuire Group is a portfolio of six health care facilities in New York state including: Autumn View Health Care Facility in Hamburg; Brookhaven Health Care Facility in East Patchogue; Garden Gate Health Care Facility in Cheektowaga; Harris Hill Nursing Facility in Williamsville; Northgate Health Care Facility in North Tonawanda and Seneca Health Care Center in West Seneca.
