Job Description & Requirements Specialty: MRI Technologist Discipline: Allied Health Professional Duration: 13 weeks 40 hours per week Shift: 8 hours, days Employment Type: Local Contract WCS Healthcare is currently seeking a MRI Technologist for a contract assignment at a Prestigious Imaging Center in Rochester, NY. Job Function: Day Shift. 4x10 or 5x8. Performs MRI imaging procedures. Operates and/or prepares specialized equipment to perform magnetic imaging procedures.3. Assists, prepares and positions patients as required to perform MRI procedures. Assists in administering opaque media and or loading power injector under aseptic technique. Evaluates radiographs for technical acceptability and ensures images are transmitted to PACS in a timely fashion. Job Requirements: 2 years of experience as an MRI Technologist. ARRT certification required. Graduate of an AMA- or JRCERT-accredited program in Radiologic Technology. New York State IV Certification required. BLS certification required. Experience with EPIC EMR preferred.
