Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Radiology Technologist Discipline: Allied Health Professional Duration: 13 weeks 40 hours per week Shift: 8 hours, days Employment Type: Local Contract WCS Healthcare is currently seeking a Radiology Technologist for a contract assignment at Prestigious Hospital in Rochester, NY. Job Function: Day Shift. 5x8. Position patients and adjust equipment to obtain images as requested by the physician. Set up, operate, and maintain equipment according to established policies and procedures. Clearly explain imaging procedures to patients. Maintain all equipment and monitor safety, ensuring patients’ physical and physiological comfort. Job Requirements: 1 year of experience as a General Radiology Technologist is required. Graduate of an accredited radiology program. ARRT certification is required. BLS certification from the American Heart Association is required.
