WCS Healthcare Partners is seeking a local contract nurse RN Med
Surg for a local contract nursing job in Geneva, New York. Job
Description & Requirements Specialty: Med Surg Discipline: RN
Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, days
Employment Type: Local Contract WCS Healthcare is currently seeking
a Med/Surg Nurse for a contract assignment at a Prestigious
Hospital in Geneva, NY. Job Function: Day Shift or Night Shift. 7am
- 7pm / 7pm - 7am. Prepare and administer prescribed medications
orally, subcutaneously, or intravenously, and accurately document
administration. Monitor patients for adverse reactions and report
in accordance with nursing protocols. Educate patients on upcoming
surgical procedures and post-operative care. Record patients’
medical information, including vital signs and clinical
observations. Operate and adjust specialized medical equipment;
interpret and document electronic readings. Job Requirements:
Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing or holder of a
Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN). Active RN license in the state
of New York. 2 years of acute Med/Surg nursing experience required.
BLS and ACLS certifications from the American Heart Association.
