This is a truly rewarding role where your skills, expertise, and empathy make a profound difference for patients and their families during one of the most critical moments of their lives. /n /nYour Impact:/n/n /n/t - You'll provide end-of-life care with a focus on managing complex patient needs and supporting families in crisis./n/t - Strong IV skills, wound care knowledge, and compassionate communication are essential, as well as astute assessment abilities to advocate for patients who are no longer able to speak for themselves./n/t - This unit also cares for general medicine overflow, offering variety in your daily work./n /nWho We’re Looking For:/n/n /n/t - You have a passion for compassionate care: Your experience in palliative or acute med/surg environments means you're ready to step into a role where you can make a real impact./n/t - You bring your skills to the table: Your proficiency in IV management, wound care, and patient-controlled analgesia pumps (or CHPN certification) will be highly valued./n/t - You’re experienced and skilled: With at least two years of recent palliative or acute med/surg experience and BLS certification, you're well-prepared to deliver outstanding care./n /nRequirements:/n/n /n/t - Current NYS RN License/n/t - 2 years of recent palliative or acute med/surg experience/n/t - BLS Certification (from AHA)/n/t - Experience with patient-controlled analgesia pumps or CHPN certification (highly desired)/n /nDetails:/n/n /n/t - Schedule: 36 or 48-hour shifts, rotating days/evenings/nights, weekends, holidays, and on-call as per unit needs./n/t - Pay Package: Competitive weekly pay based on 12-hour shifts and a 48-hour work week (subject to confirmation), plus a tax-free stipend (amount to be determined). 36 Hours Work week is also an option!/n /nIf you’re ready for a fulfilling opportunity where your expertise and compassion will truly make a difference, we’d love to hear from you.
