Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Med Surg / Telemetry - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 02/02/2026 - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, nights - Employment Type: Travel Nights Med/Surg Telemetry RN/n/n Location/n New York /n/nAssignment Duration/n This is a 13-week contract position. /n/nSchedule/n Night shift, 3x12 hour shifts (19:00 - 07:00). /n/nJob Description/n This position is for a 14-bed overflow unit designed to accommodate ED boarder patients. The unit will function as a med/surg telemetry space and may adapt in terms of patient volume based on demand. /n/nResponsibilities/n /n - Provide nursing care to patients in a med/surg telemetry unit. /n - Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms and respond to changes in patient status. /n - Assist in managing peripheral lines and administering oxygen and airway management. /n - Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including IV teams, respiratory services, and pharmacy. /n - Participate in rapid response and code teams as needed. /n /n/nRequired Experience / Certifications / Licensure/n /n - 1 year of nursing experience, preferably in a telemetry or med/surg setting. /n - Current BLS certification. /n - Epic charting experience is required. /n - NY State RN license required in hand to submit. /n /n/nWhy ARMStaffing?/n At ARMStaffing, we take care of our employees!
