find a qualified MICU RN in Rochester, New York, 14621! Job
Opportunity – Medical Intensive Care Unit (MICU) Registered Nurse –
New York Start Date: February 24, 2026 Location: Rochester, New
York Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: 3x12 night shifts, 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM, every other weekend
required Highlights: 16-bed MICU with complex, high-acuity patient
population including sepsis, ARDS, multi-organ failure,
post-cardiac arrest, and more Advanced critical care experience
with CRRT, ECMO, Impella, IABP, and EKOS therapies Epic charting
system utilized facility-wide Nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:2, with
occasional 1:1 assignments based on acuity 36-hour orientation
period with comprehensive onboarding support One block of
pre-approved time off available during assignment Requirements:
Active New York RN license (must be in hand prior to submission)
Minimum 2 years of critical care nursing experience Current ACLS,
BLS, and NIHSS certifications required Epic charting experience is
mandatory Experience with arterial line management, central line
care, continuous IV sedation, and titration of cardiac and
vasoactive drips Proficiency in ventilator management, ABG
interpretation, dysrhythmia interpretation and management
Experience with BiPAP, CPAP, and care of intubated patients Must
reside more than 75 miles from facility location First-time
