Physical Therapy Assistant Location: Wyoming Agency: Medix Pay: Competitive weekly pay (inquire for details) Start Date: ASAP About the Position Medix, a leading provider of workforce solutions, is partnering with a client facility to fill an exciting travel contract for a Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) . This assignment is based in a Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) and Short Term Rehabilitation setting, providing an excellent opportunity to positively impact the lives of a geriatric patient population. As a PTA clinician, you will be responsible for delivering essential physical therapy services as part of a comprehensive care team. This is a chance to leverage your skills in a new environment, contribute to patient rehabilitation goals, and gain valuable experience in a dedicated setting. Location: Gillette, WY Facility Type: Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) / Short Term Rehab Start Date: ASAP Length of Assignment: Approximately 13 Weeks (520 Expected Hours) State License Needed: Wyoming PT license Schedule: Monday to Friday, five 8-hour shifts, typically from approximately 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Pay: Compensation details, including rate ranges and potential stipends, will be thoroughly discussed with your dedicated Medix recruiter. Key Responsibilities Provide skilled Physical Therapy Assistant services within a SNF and short-term rehabilitation environment. Manage a geriatric patient population. Maintain a manageable patient volume, with a maximum of 10 patients per day. Requirements Current and Active Wyoming (WY) Physical Therapy (PT) license is required. Proficiency in utilizing Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems, specifically familiarity with Medhelp and Point Click Care is a plus.
