Job Description Job Description Must have completed Behavior Specialist / ABA Therapy training and have a minimum 1 years Behavior Therapy experience. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A full-time position is available for a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to support K-12 students within a school district located in Mesquite, Texas. This role focuses on addressing behavioral needs across general and special education settings, with an emphasis on reducing disproportionality within the district. The position is a contracted assignment running from January 16, 2025, through May 28, 2026, with onsite work required. Key Responsibilities: Conduct functional behavior assessments and develop individualized behavior intervention plans for students K-12. Collaborate with educators and staff to provide direct support and training on behavioral strategies. Supervise Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) and provide clinical guidance. Implement evidence-based practices aimed at improving social and academic outcomes. Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and maintain accurate records. Qualifications and Experience: Active BCBA certification is required. Experience working with diverse student populations in both general and special education is preferred. Previous experience providing staff training and supervision of RBTs is highly desirable. Strong understanding of behavior analysis principles and behavioral intervention strategies.
