Job Opportunity – Medical-Surgical/Telemetry RN – New York Start Date: February 10, 2026 Location: Rochester, New York Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants Schedule: 4x12 rotating days and nights, every other weekend required, holiday availability required Highlights: 26-bed cardiac telemetry unit specializing in CHF, acute MI, post-pacemaker care, and arrhythmia management Patient ratio of 1:5 to 1:7 in a tertiary care hospital with 528 staffed beds EPIC charting system used throughout facility Opportunity to work with cardiac monitoring, dysrhythmia interpretation and management, and emergency response teams Comprehensive orientation with pre-start modules provided Floating to other units may be required Requirements: Active New York RN license in hand prior to submission (no exceptions) Minimum 1 year of Medical-Surgical/Telemetry nursing experience ACLS and BLS certifications required EPIC charting experience required Must reside more than 75 miles from facility location Proficiency in cardiac monitoring, dysrhythmia interpretation and management, IV therapy, peripheral line care, respiratory support, and isolation precautions First-time travelers accepted Why It's a Great Opportunity: This position offers the chance to develop specialized cardiac nursing skills in a dynamic tertiary care environment.
