Registered Nurse (RN) | Intensive Care Unit (ICU) / Critical Care Location: Geneva, NY Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,092 per week Shift Information: 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 2/16/2026 About the Position Job Title: ICU Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Acute Care Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Variable Schedule Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum years of experience required License: Currently licensed as a registered professional nurse in New York State Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS required through the RQI system during clinical orientation Basic Coronary Care within 6 months of hire CPI certification within 90 days of hire Must-Have: Demonstrated ability to handle confidential information with discretion Ability to interact with the public in a professional and courteous manner Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple priorities Strong teamwork and communication skills Excellent organizational skills Computer literacy Description: The role requires providing care in an acute care setting. The nurse will be responsible for the assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care. Candidates must have current certifications in BLS, ACLS, PALS, and be able to obtain additional certifications within specified time frames after hire. Demonstrated knowledge of growth and development principles across the lifespan is required. The candidate must be able to assess data reflective of the patient's status and interpret the appropriate information needed to identify each patient's requirements relative to their age-specific needs. Experience with electronic medical records is preferred. Candidates are expected to exemplify professional behavior and effective communication skills. The nursing staff should ensure safety, promote dignity, and foster healthy relationships within the care environment. Team members must demonstrate knowledge of the principles of patient care needed for varied patient demographics, including pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric populations.
