Registered Nurse (RN) | Emergency Room (ER) / Trauma Location: Rochester, NY Agency: Revolution Healthcare Services Pay: $2,200 per week Shift Information: Nights - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 3/2/2026 About the Position TravelNurseSource is working with Revolution Healthcare Services to find a qualified ER/Trauma RN in Rochester, New York, 14445! Job Opportunity – Emergency Department RN – New York Start Date: March 2, 2026 Location: Rochester, New York Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants Schedule: 3:00 PM – 3:00 AM, every other weekend required Highlights: Combined adult and pediatric emergency department with 71 beds and approximately 145 visits per day Patient ratio of 1:5 with mixed and shared acuity levels Epic charting system utilized facility-wide Comprehensive interdisciplinary support including IV teams, rapid response, pharmacy, and respiratory services 16 hours of orientation provided to ensure smooth transition Float to other units when census warrants Requirements: Current New York State RN license (must be active prior to submission) Minimum 1 year of emergency department experience required BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NIHSS certifications required Epic EMR experience strongly preferred Proficiency in IV starts, phlebotomy, blood product administration, and central line care Experience with dysrhythmia interpretation and management, procedural sedation, emergency medications, IV vasopressors, and continuous IV sedation/paralytics Knowledge of CVA protocols and isolation precautions Must reside more than 75 miles from facility location Why It's a Great Opportunity: This position offers the chance to work in a high-volume emergency department caring for patients across the lifespan, from neonates to geriatrics.
