Openings: 1 Unit: 4200 MS/Tele Requirements - Experience: 1 year recent MS/Tele (first-time travelers accepted) - Certs: BLS required | NIHSS preferred - Charting: Epic (preferred) - Floating: Required to like units (within scope) - Weekends: Every other weekend - Block scheduling: Not available - RTO: Max 1 week per contract - Locals: Not accepted (75-mile radius) - Pending license: ? Not accepted Patient Population - Adults & Geriatrics - Common diagnoses: - Acute respiratory failure - CHF - COPD exacerbation - Pneumonia - Sepsis Ratios & Staffing (IMPORTANT) - Days/Eves: 5:1 (may stretch to 6–7) - Nights: 6–7:1 (may stretch to 8–10 if staffing calls out) - Daily census: ~19 patients / 19 beds Support staff includes: - PCTs on all units (VS, BG checks, EKGs, ADLs) - In-house phlebotomy (RNs manage PICCs & central lines) - IV team, RT, PT, pharmacy, RRT, unit secretary, transport Required Skills - Telemetry monitoring - Interpretation & management of dysrhythmias - Amiodarone drip management - Rapid Response / Code Team activation - Peripheral IV care & management - Oxygen delivery: - Nasal cannula - Masks - Portable O2 - Non-invasive airway management - Isolation precautions / PPE Equipment Experience - BiPAP / CPAP - High-flow oxygen - Ventilators - Trachs - Chest tubes HonorVet Technologies Job ID 31798812.
