a qualified Radiology RN in Rochester, New York, 14642! Job Title:
Interventional Radiology Registered Nurse Profession: Registered
Nurse Specialty: Interventional Radiology Duration: 13 weeks Shift:
Blocked Nights (Monday - Thursday) Hours per Shift: 10 hours
Experience: Minimum of 2 years' Registered Nursing experience in
Interventional Radiology License: New York RN license required
Certifications: BLS and ACLS from the American Heart Association
required Must-Have: - Telemetry experience - 2 years of
Interventional Radiology nursing experience Description: This is a
fast-paced pre/post interventional radiology department in a level
1 trauma center. The department caters to inpatient and outpatient
populations across the lifespan. Nurses work within a
multidisciplinary team and are responsible for the pre-procedural
preparation of patients. They also provide post-procedural recovery
and overnight observation care. Experience with gastrointestinal
post-procedural care is preferred but not required. This role
offers an exciting opportunity for nurses who want to work in a
high-energy environment focused on diagnostic imaging. The
department specializes in providing care for patients undergoing CT
scans, MRIs, nuclear medicine scans, X-rays, and ultrasounds. Good
communication skills, as well as the ability to think critically,
are essential for this position. Candidates who are team-oriented,

Medical/surgical and telemetry experience is preferred. Registered
Nurses are responsible for pre/post and 23-hour care for
interventional radiology patients. They provide care for patients
boarding overnight pre or post-procedure. BLS and ACLS
