with Cynet Health to find a qualified PCU RN in Rochester, New
York, 14621! Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing

Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS Must-Have: - EPIC charting
experience - Ability to manage a patient ratio of 1:5 to 1:7 for
MedSurg Description: MUST HAVE NY LICENSE IN HAND - NO EXCEPTIONS.
First-time travelers are accepted. Candidates must be within a
75-mile radius of the facility. Patients in this unit require
specialized care and continuous monitoring. All patients are
monitored with pulse-oximetry and telemetry. Care involves airway
management and acute BIPAP support. Experience with arterial lines
and central lines is required. The role includes administering
titrated medicated IV infusions. Teamwork and a multidisciplinary
approach are essential for providing compassionate care. The unit
accommodates a variety of patient diagnoses, including long-term
pulmonary patients and post-surgical cases. Nurses must be adept in
isolation precautions and other safety protocols. The patient
population consists of adults requiring step-down care from higher
acuity settings. The unit operates with a proactive team that
includes IV teams, respiratory services, and pharmacy.
