Registered Nurse (RN) | Med/Surg / Telemetry Location: Rochester, NY Agency: Revolution Healthcare Services Pay: $2,056 per week Shift Information: Days - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 3/9/2026 About the Position TravelNurseSource is working with Revolution Healthcare Services to find a qualified Med/Surg / Tele RN in Rochester, New York, 14445! Job Opportunity – Medical-Surgical/Telemetry RN – New York Start Date: March 9, 2026 Location: Rochester, New York Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants Schedule: 12-hour shifts with every other weekend required; block scheduling considered based on availability Highlights: Work on a 27-bed Medical-Surgical/Telemetry unit treating patients with cardiac disease, stroke, infection, pain management, and pulmonary embolism Day and evening ratios of 5:1 (stretch to 6-7); night ratios of 6-7:1 (stretch to 8-10) Strong interdisciplinary support including IV teams, phlebotomy, respiratory services, rapid response teams, physical therapy, and social services Patient care technicians on all units to assist with vital signs, blood glucose checks, EKGs, and activities of daily living Experience with telemetry monitoring, dysrhythmia interpretation and management, peripheral line care, oxygen administration, and isolation precautions Epic EMR system utilized; previous Epic experience required Requirements: Active New York RN license required prior to submission (pending licenses not accepted) BLS certification required; NIHSS preferred Minimum 1 year of recent Medical-Surgical/Telemetry experience Epic charting experience is a hard requirement First-time travelers accepted Must reside more than 75 miles from facility Willingness to float to Medical-Surgical, Emergency Department, ICU (stable patients), and Acute Brain Injury units (stable patients) Previous charge experience preferred Why It's a Great Opportunity: This role offers the chance to work with a diverse patient population in a well-supported environment where nursing staff can focus on patient care while PCTs and specialized teams handle many ancillary tasks.
