Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Med Surg - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 04/13/2026 - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours - Employment Type: Travel Opportunity: RN - Med Surg Job Details: • Work rotating shift schedules (Day/Evening/Night) - no straight shift schedules available • Every other weekend schedule required • Holiday, on-call, and callback responsibilities as needed • Charge nurse responsibilities per unit needs • Two years of nursing experience required • Telemetry experience required • New York RN license required (NY licenses only accepted) • BLS certification required (American Heart Association only) • Function as Level II Registered Nurse with expanded role responsibilities • May serve as preceptor and committee member • Provide competent patient care based on established standards • Engage in clinical practice, service excellence, and professional development • Participate in research and evidence-based practice initiatives Facility: This major academic medical center serves as a leading healthcare institution providing comprehensive medical services and specialized care.
