Board-Certified/Board-Eligible Infectious Disease physician to join
our well-established, hospital-based consultative practice.
Position Highlights: - Established Team Model: Join a dedicated
Infectious Disease service comprised of two full-time Infectious
Disease physicians and one Advanced Practice Provider, offering a
collaborative and supportive clinical environment. - System-Wide
Impact: Provide telemedicine Infectious Disease consults across
UPMC Northern Pod hospitals, expanding your clinical reach while
maintaining balance. - Advanced Technology: Work within a fully
integrated Epic electronic medical record, ensuring seamless
documentation, communication, and continuity of care. - Patient
Safety Focus: Utilize a hospital-wide electronic nosocomial
infection surveillance system to proactively enhance patient safety
and outcomes. - Integrated Care Model: Play a key role in an
established Antimicrobial Stewardship Program, partnering closely
with the Infectious Disease team and hospital leadership to promote
best practices. This role offers a meaningful opportunity to grow

Qualifications: - MD/DO from an accredited medical school -
Accredited Internal Medicine Residency Program completion -
Accredited Infectious Disease Fellowship Program completion - Open
to recent fellowship-trained physicians - American Board Eligible
or American Board Certified in Internal Medicine and Infectious
Disease - Ability to obtain an unrestricted Pennsylvania Medical
License and ability to obtain necessary credentials - DEA
