region's premier Neurosciences Institute at a regional referral
center - Collaborate with a strong multidisciplinary team,
including: - 6 Neurosurgeons (including a
cerebrovascular/endovascular specialist) - Neurohospitalists,
neurologists, neuroradiology, neurointerventional neurology, and
experienced APPs - Practice at a Level II Trauma Center and
Comprehensive Stroke Center - Access the full resources of the UPMC
health system Position Highlights - American BE/BC Neurological
Surgeon preferred - High-volume practice with ~80% spine / 20%
cranial cases - Broad case mix including neurotrauma, complex
spine, brain tumors, and cerebrovascular disease - Balanced
schedule supporting career longevity and personal time - Dedicated
OR block time to support efficient, predictable scheduling -
Collaborative culture with involvement in conferences, quality
initiatives, and teaching Qualifications: - MD/DO from an
accredited medical school - Accredited Neurosurgery Residency
Program completion - Fellowship training is not required; however
Accredited Spine Neurosurgery Fellowship completion is a plus -
Board Eligible or Board Certified by the American Board of
Neurological Surgery - Ability to obtain an unrestricted
Pennsylvania Medical License and ability to obtain necessary
