Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Med Surg - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 04/13/2026 - Duration: 14 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, rotating - Employment Type: Travel RN Position Job Notes: Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2 years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available. Opportunity: /n RN - Acute Care Med Surg /n/n Job Details: /n • Part-time position working 2x12 hour shifts /n• Rotational schedule including days, evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays /n• Provide high quality compassionate care to patients and families in medical/surgical setting /n• Develop specialized skills in cardiac care including telemetry monitoring /n• Assess patient needs and develop individualized plans of care in collaboration with interdisciplinary team /n• Provide direct patient care, evaluate progress, and coordinate care delivery throughout patient episodes /n• Conduct patient and family education to assist with self-care beyond hospitalization /n• Administer medications and apply nursing interventions with skill and accuracy /n• Document education provided and patient/family response to education /n• Maintain infection prevention strategies and required competencies for assigned population /n• Required: NYS RN Licensure, BLS, and ACLS certifications /n• One year of experience serving in Med/Surg environment as a Registered Nurse required /n/n Facility: /n This healthcare facility provides comprehensive medical and surgical services with a focus on delivering high-quality, compassionate patient care.
