Posting: KAT Team Leader Location: 2462 State Route 54A, Suite 130,
PENN YAN, NY Employment Type: 8:30am - 3:00pm Monday- Thursday
Salary: $16.25 an hour General Description The Team Leader is
responsible for the daily implementation of programming for the
Kids Adventure Time program in Yates County. This role ensures the
smooth operation of the program, which runs for six weeks 4 days
during the summer starting in July, with the option to return the
last three Fridays in October. Essential Duties and
Responsibilities Training Attendance: Participates in required
training sessions focused on child behavior and agency policies.
Site Setup and Cleanup: Sets up the site daily, handling end-of-day
cleanup, and maintaining the environment. Activity Implementation:
Ensures that youth participate in pre-scheduled activities and
arrive on time. Prepare alternative activities in case scheduled
ones fall through or additional engagement is needed. Mandated
Reporting: Reports any suspected neglect or abuse of enrolled youth
to the New York State Hotlines as required by law. Inform
supervisor of any concerns you may have. Team Leadership: Oversees
the youth and manage schedules and keep everyone on task. Safety
Reporting: Addresses and report any environmental safety concerns
to the Program Coordinator or Site Supervisor. Additional Duties:
Performs other related tasks as assigned. Note: The above

as required. Requirements: Qualifications Education: High School
Diploma required. Some college preferred. Credentials: Valid NY
State Driver License and access to a reliable vehicle Experience:
Experience working with at risk youth either through employment or
volunteer experience preferred. Relevant years of experience and
education will be considered Additional Qualifications: Adheres to
all applicable federal and state laws and regulations including,
but not limited to, those governing confidentiality, privacy,
program, billing and documentation standards. All duties must be
performed in accordance with CCDR’s corporate compliance and ethics
program. Ability to prioritize assignments, plan, and complete work
projects with minimal direction Exceptional time management skills
and ability to effectively and meet deadlines Excellent
verbal/written skills Possession a valid NYS Driver’s license and a
driver's record considered acceptable by agency and insurance
carrier. Continuous use of a reliable, registered and insured
vehicle. Ability to work in the following software programs:
Windows, Microsoft Office, and multiple online software platforms
as required by funders and partner organizations Ability to
maintain confidentiality and handle confidential information with
discretion Ability to demonstrate behaviors and attitudes which
support organizational mission, philosophy, and policies Ability to
work in a cooperative and helpful manner with all individuals
Willingness and ability to foster agency and program wide
cooperation and teamwork through use of positive/constructive
communication techniques Provide effective, equitable,
understandable and respectful quality care and services that are

preferred languages, health literacy and other communication needs.
