Clean Harbors is actively seeking a dedicated and reliable CDL Route Driver to join our transportation team. This position is essential for facilitating the efficient and safe transportation of hazardous and non-hazardous waste materials across various customer sites in North America. By joining our team, you'll play a crucial role in our mission to protect the environment and promote sustainability through responsible waste management. As a CDL Route Driver, you will be at the forefront of our operations, ensuring timely service, compliance with regulations, and upholding the safety protocols that define our company Operate class A or B commercial vehicles in compliance with DOT regulations. Transport hazardous and non-hazardous waste materials between disposal facilities and customer sites. Ensure the safe loading and unloading of materials, adhering to all safety and environmental guidelines. Maintain accurate records of pickups and deliveries, and manage manifests and other required documentation. Conduct regular vehicle maintenance checks and report any mechanical issues. Attend and participate in regular safety meetings and training sessions. Provide exceptional customer service, addressing customer inquiries and concerns promptly. Ability to maneuver and handle heavy equipment. Knowledge of DOT regulations and safety standards for transporting hazardous materials. Strong organizational skills for accurate documentation management. Excellent communication skills for effective customer interactions and reporting.
