Employee Type:Full time Location:NY Tonawanda Job Type:Production Support Job Posting Title:Training Specialist Job Description:* Develops, prepares and maintains training materials, including electronic training documents for both hourly and salaried employees.* Assembles and issues training material.* Maintains training documentation and tracking for all employees.* Monitors and reports training progress.* Follow ups with trainees to ensure they complete all training in timely and accurate manner.* Assess instructional effectiveness and determine the impact of training on employee skills and KPIs.* Regularly review and assess training requirements to suggest and act on implementing changes to the training program;* Creates, communicates and updates training/orientation schedules and documentation* Performs/instructs classroom training and practical/on the job training for new hires, bidders or transfers to a department/new job.* Performs/instructs classroom training and practical/on the job training when safety, quality or performance corrective action is needed, or when changes in methods or equipment require new training or re-training.* Helps identify and drives development of on-the-job trainers for all job positions across all shifts.* Host train-the-trainer sessions for internal subject matter experts* Assists in writing work instructions for new equipment and/or modifications to existing equipment.* Collects and provides feedback to supervisors on training progress of new hires/bidders/transfers, as needed.* Coordinate, facilitates, assist with new hire orientation, and onboarding activities.* Follows up with shift supervisors and managers on reviews for employees including 30, 60 and 90-day reviews, and annual reviews, as a key part of employee retention* Coordinate and facilitate employee engagement events and programs to help improve employee retention.* Ensures all employees and labor pool associates are trained per the training matrix.Disability AssistanceTreeHouse Foods is an Equal Employment Opportunity Employer and offers opportunities to all job seekers, including those with disabilities.
