The Impact You'll Make in this Role
As a Manufacturing Engineer you will have the opportunity to tap
into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most
innovative and diverse people around the world. Drive continuous
improvement in lean manufacturing operations.
Primary Responsibilities include but are not limited to the
- Development and implementation of improvements related to
safety, quality, service, and cost.
- Lead Lean Six Sigma projects.
- Determine and implement capital improvement projects
- Proactively communicates project direction and status to
- Engagement and involvement in daily operations to meet service
targets, including direction/support of maintenance and division
Your Skills and Expertise
To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M requires
(at a minimum) the following qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or higher (completed and verified prior to
start) from an accredited institution
- Three (3) years of engineering experience in a private, public,
government or military environment
Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even
further in this role include:
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Electrical, Mechanical,
Chemical, Industrial or Manufacturing
- Engineering Experience in leading multi-functional teams
through complex projects from planning to completion
- Excellent problem solving and analytical skills
- Experience in six sigma and lean
Travel: May include up to up to 10%
Relocation Assistance: May be authorized
