Job Description:

• Parallel Employment is seeking a Chopping Line Supervisor for a metal recycling client in Lancaster , NY !
  Trial to permanent hire in approximately 90 days.Shift : 1st shift - 7:00 AM - 3:45 PM , Monday - Friday , some overtime may be requiredSalary : $18 - $20 hour , dependent on experience
  Responsibilities :
  • Working safely in a medium to heavy industrial / manufacturing environment
  • Manage and train team members
  • Operate metal chopping lines with high quality/ conforming product results
  • Scheduling blade changes
  • Accurate monthly production log reporting
  • Quality control testing
  • Provide input for production schedule and chopping lines
  • Forklift / Bobcat operation

    Requirements
    • 3 years prior mechanical experience
    • Be familiar with the concept of chopping materials
    • High School Diploma or GED
    • Lift up to 50 pounds
    • Excellent attendance
    • Reliable transportation
    • Wear steel toe boots in facility
