Job Description:
This position will support both the Procurement Services and
Powell Campus Center Mailroom Operations. In the mail room they
will assist with the processing of USPS and other special carrier
deliveries for students with Powell Campus Center mailboxes and all
letter mail and intra-campus mail for faculty and staff. In the
Procurement Office, they are responsible for supporting internal
and external customers when they reach out for assistance. They
support the Procurement Office by being the clerical support for
the team. Schedule will mainly be half days in each office space,
but that may be modified based on departmental needs. This position
has been evaluated for compliance with the Fair Labor Standards Act
and is subject to premium pay for all hours worked in excess of 40
in a payroll week.
Salary/Rate:$15.00-$16.00 per hour, 35 hours per week

The ability to lift 50 pounds is required. This is a physical job,
and moving around, lifting, and bending are all
required.
Personal Protective Equipment must be worn when required. A
respiratory function test and the ability to use respirators may be
required. Stairs and uneven surfaces may be present; artificial
lifts, etc. may or may not be available. The position may require
the incumbent to walk outdoors in all types of weather to other
buildings or offices located on the campus. The Campus is located
in an areathat contains numerous hills and slopes and may not
always be fully accessible for mobility impaired individuals.
