Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Boiler Service Technician to join our Buffalo NY team. If you have outstanding customer service skills and the ability to start up, troubleshoot, provide maintenance and safe operation of boiler equipment and associated system components we want to talk to you!
How are you successful in this role?
The ideal candidate should have the ability to observe and troubleshoot technically complex boiler systems on site and in project documents. Be able to read flow diagrams, sequence of operations, combustion reports and electrical schematics. Commission and troubleshoot to ensure proper operations of boilers. Have the ability to provide detailed service write-ups to communicate with both customers and service support team. Have great customer service skills to be able to train the owner/operator on the boiler.
What are we looking for?

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Five (5) years of directly related experience, or the equivalent combination of education and experience
• Experience in the construction or HVAC industry, including but not limited to boilers, burners, controls and psychometrics
• Demonstrated knowledge in control theory, automatic temperature controls, building automation systems and other building subsystems
• Knowledge of HVAC&R theory, solid mechanical, electrical troubleshooting and repair skills
• Ability to read wiring diagrams, mechanical layouts and blueprints
• Operating knowledge of Microsoft Office software and working proficiency with handheld devices such as Smartphones, iPads, ect. What we would love to see?
