Must follow all department paperwork procedures as well as all verbal and/or written instructions and guidelines according to job requirements. --ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Must be able to learn and safely operate various machinery and production equipment, up to and including changing over equipmentMust be able to perform manual tasks to which support the continuous operation of production lines Must maintain simple records and paperwork related to the position Must be able to perform sanitation maintenance on all equipment required of the position Must be able to perform basic computer skills Responsible for food quality and safety--EDUCATIONHigh school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent, required----EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS1 - 2 years previous experience in food manufacturing, preferredFlexible to work overtime in difference shifts and at times with short-notice. Intermittent lifting of over 50 pounds without assistance or up to 100 pounds with assistance.Ability to work respectfully and efficiently with othersContinuous mental and visual attention is required to perform duties, involving repetitive or diversified work requiring constant alertness or activityAbility to perform visual inspections of materials and productsAbility to record data on paper and/or using computer systemsAbility to work in extreme temperatures, working at heights and exposure to dust, gases, fumes, and chemicals.Perform other physical tasks that include pushing, pulling, bending, squatting, walking, climbing (stairs and/or ladders), standing and sittingAbility to use common hand tools (i.e. screw driver) to perform a wide array of duties including fine manipulation and gripping--
